Associated Press and the Advocate report on American Association of University Professors’ investigation into LSU’s firing of professor Ivor van Heerden, a Hurricane Katrina whistleblower

  • April 8, 2010

The Associated Press and the Advocate have published articles on the American Association of University Professors’ intention to investigate the firing of LSU professor Ivor van Heerden. Van Heerden was terminated after criticising the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ reaction to the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. KMB attorneys David Marshall, Debra Katz and Dan Edelman, along with Baton Rouge attorney Jill Craft, represent Dr. van Heerden in his wrongful termination suit.
