Andrew Schroeder has worked on a variety of whistleblower, discrimination, harassment, and breach of contract cases for civil rights and employment law firms since 2003. He has considerable experience representing executives and employees in the defense contracting, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. Mr. Schroeder has litigated cases in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration, and has represented employees before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, the Department of Labor, and the MSPB. He has also negotiated severance agreements for officers and senior executives of large companies and non-profit organizations.
He is a member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
Mr. Schroeder received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He also earned a law degree and a Master of Arts (History) from the University of Virginia. In law school, Mr. Schroeder was an Editor on the Virginia Law Review and a Dillard Fellow for legal research and writing. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable J. Frederick Motz, United States District Court Judge for the District of Maryland, and for the Honorable Terence T. Evans, United States Court of Appeals Judge for the Seventh Circuit.
Mr. Schroeder joined Katz, Marshall & Banks, LLP, in June 2011.
