Though the pandemic has brought professional slowdowns to people around the country, Ms. Katz and Ms. Banks have been busier than ever before. In fact, as Ms. Banks notes, it may be the biggest year they’ve ever had.
Since the launch of the #MeToo movement in late 2017, the two have been inundated with cases related to sexual harassment, including some that are decades old. While working together on matters – many of them high-profile cases such as representing Dr. Christine Blasey Ford during the confirmation hearings of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and their current representation of a former aide to Governor Andrew Cuomo – Ms. Katz and Ms. Banks have maintained an effective and steadfast partnership rooted in shared goals and complementary skills.
