Debra Katz Named Washington DC Trailblazer by National Law Journal

Katz, Marshall & Banks partner Debra Katz was honored as a “Washington D.C. Trailblazer” by the National Law Journal, recognizing her as an agent of change in her practice.

The National Law Journal article describes highlights of Ms. Katz’s career, including her recent representation of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford during the confirmation hearings of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and her advocacy on behalf of victims of Harvey Weinstein.

During the past year alone, Ms. Katz has been influential in the legal community through her representation of clients who have made a difference by standing up to fraud and injustice. Ms. Katz represented Dr. Rick Bright, whose testimony before Congress regarding the inadequate and politically-motivated response by the federal government to COVID-19 shed a light on abuse and incompetence that likely has cost lives.

Ms. Katz also currently represents more than a dozen former employees of the Washington Football Team who have documented an extremely hostile and sexually-charged work environment in which harassers were allowed to act with impunity.

For these accomplishments and many more, the National Law Journal has recognized Ms. Katz has a legal trailblazer.
