Debra Katz Responds to Findings from Cuomo Investigation

Senior partner Debra Katz has responded to the New York Attorney General’s findings regarding the investigation of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, which found that he sexually harassed multiple women working for the executive office and tried to retaliate against those who came forward.

In a statement released immediately following the Attorney General’s announcement, Ms. Katz, who represents Cuomo accuser Charlotte Bennett, called on Gov. Cuomo to resign, along with senior staff members who she says, “protected and enabled him.”

“The Governor’s actions have deprived New Yorkers of the professionalism, passion, and dedication to their state that Charlotte and the many others who refused to submit to his advances have to offer,” Ms. Katz said.

More information about Ms. Katz’s response can be found at The New York Times, NPR, and The New York Post.
