Ms. Evans joined the firm as a Litigation Fellow in September 2020. Previously, she had worked on employment discrimination cases as an intern in the Immigration and Family Unit at Bronx Legal Services and then at the Gender Equality Law Center. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she was the Digital Executive Editor of the NYU Review of Law and Social Change and served on the board of the Identity Documents Project, which helps TGNCI (transgender, gender non-conforming and intersex) people update their IDs and obtain name changes. She also participated in NYU’s Civil Litigation – Employment Law clinic, where she worked on discrimination and wage and hour cases with the Legal Aid Society of New York, and the LGBTQ Rights Externship where she worked at Lambda Legal.
Mr. O’Connor joined the firm as a Law Clerk in October 2020. Prior to joining KMB, Mr. O'Connor worked at Akin Gump in New York as a Summer Associate, where he handled immigration, gender-based violence, and bankruptcy matters. Mr. O'Connor is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he received his J.D. earlier in 2020. While at Georgetown, he served as a research assistant, conducting analysis on banking and mortgage regulations.
